An Interactive Application to Self-Assess Mainstreaming of Gender Equality in Local Governments 8 March 2016 The UN Women Training Centre is proud to present the Self-Assessment Test for Municipalities. This interactive application in form of stoplight is a user-friendly tool for technical staff or local authorities. It guides users to make their own assessment on how much gender equality is mainstreamed in their local government and it gives an indication of progress and challenges. More

Over 3,000 IOM Staff Members complete 'I Know Gender' Course 6 January 2016 In the fall of 2015, IOM Director General William Lacy Swing announced the mandatory completion of the UN Women Training Centre's I Know Gender Course, with the aim to build awareness and understanding on gender issues. A race was launched among all IOM offices to complete the course. Since then, over 3270 IOM staff around the world, have completed the course. The UN Women Training Centre congratulates these efforts and hope that other UN Agencies will follow in their footsteps. Watch the video below published by IOM celebrating their results. More
