The UN Women Training Centre is pleased to announce the online Community of Practice (CoP)on Training for Gender Equality is now part of our eLearning Campus. This online community and platform aims to support the informed discussion and reflection on the current trends of training and capacity development for gender equality, the collection and dissemination of good practices and the identification of institutions, opportunities and resources for training for gender equality at the global level.
The CoP serves as an open forum for dialogue on new and emerging issues related to training and capacity development processes, as well as a platform for articulation and knowledge exchange between training for gender equality practitioners, gender equality specialists, and other key stakeholders from all around the world.
Originally launched in 2012, the CoP holds Virtual Dialogues on themes related to training for gender equality that serve to create exchange between training for gender equality practitioners, gender equality specialists, and other key stakeholders from all around the world.
Additionally, the CoP features the following:
- Library: a gender equality online resource library
- Trainings: a database of trainings related to gender equality that is constantly updated
- Institutions: an index of institutions that offer training for gender equality
