Available now! Self-paced course on CEDAW

24 October 2017

The Convention on the Elimination of all Forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW) is considered a major milestone in the field of Human Rights. Under this assumption, the UN Women Training Centre offers a self-paced Course in English that aims at enhancing the understanding of the participants in the relevance of the CEDAW and its application to their daily work.

The Course on the Convention on the Elimination of all Forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW) results from an interagency cooperation initiative carried out by the UN Women Training Center, UN Women Leadership and Governance section, Country Offices and the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCR).

The Course can be completed online in around 4-6 hours, with the support of multimedia components (videos, quizzlets, infographics, case studies, etc). A certificate of completion will be granted upon 80% success rate on the test offered at the end of the Course.
