• To recognize the impact of socialization especially messages around masculinities on sexual health and sexuality relationships between men men’s relationships with women men’s roles and responsibilities 
• Allow participants to reflect on the self and highlight an individual's role and power to bring about positive change in the society 
• Identify alternative ways of 'being a man', and provide a forum for healthier ways of practicing it, and 
• Sensitize men and boys to recognize violence, its link to power and mobilize them to stand up against gender based violence at a personal and community level.
