This training manual presents a three-day curriculum - including lecturettes, participatory activities, and handouts - of the face-to-face training delivered by EnCompass for PEPFAR implementing partners working with orphans and other vulnerable children and key populations affected by HIV/AIDS. AIDSFree developed this training manual for implementing partners to use in their own trainings both within their organizations and with partners. The training it is based on aimed to increase implementing partners’ capacity to design and implement interventions that are gender-aware and gender-transformative, and prevent and respond to gender-based violence.
