The UN Women Training Centre is pleased to announce the new dates of the Training of Trainers (ToT) on Gender Equality for UN Women Staff. The registration is exclusively for UN Women staff and closes on 24 June 2018.
The training programme aims to enable UN Women staff involved in capacity development and training initiatives to acquire and update training and facilitation skills and techniques. At the same time, it will strengthen the implementation of corporate quality assurance criteria and standards in training for gender equality, thus increasing the impact and cost effectiveness of UN Women training activities.
Given the high number of training activities implemented at the country level, the UN Women Training Centre implementing several strategies, one of which is this Training of Trainers, to expand its capacities to support Regional, Country, and Multi-Country Offices, as well as Programme Presence in training for gender equality activities. This particular programme for facilitators builds on the knowledge, experience and collaboration of the UN Women Training Centre and the International Training Centre of the International Labour Organisation (ITC ILO).
Registration is open to UN Women personnel who are involved in designing and implementing learning activities; officials who have to supervise trainers and participate in training evaluation; learning managers involved in training programme cycles and managers who are responsible for training and capacity development.
The course encompasses an online induction, a face to face workshop and a coaching session during which participants will be able to design, implement and evaluate their training programmes while having online coaching sessions.
