UN Women Training Centre Delivers Webinar on the Gender Agenda in Habitat III

Looking ahead to the next summit of Habitat III, on housing and sustainable development, in October 2016, the UN Women Training Center presented the webinar "The Gender Agenda in Habitat III". This webinar was centered around the presence of women and women's agenda for Habitat III, the key issues under discussion and the implications of this conference for the advancement of gender equality in the region.

Over 3,000 IOM Staff Members complete 'I Know Gender' Course

In the fall of 2015, IOM Director General William Lacy Swing announced the mandatory completion of the UN Women Training Centre's I Know Gender Course, with the aim to build awareness and understanding on gender issues. A race was launched among all IOM offices to complete the course. Since then, over 3270 IOM staff around the world, have completed the course. The UN Women Training Centre congratulates these efforts and hope that other UN Agencies will follow in their footsteps. Watch the video below published by IOM celebrating their results.

Registration Open for Course on Care Economy

The UN Women Training Centre is pleased to announce the opening of the registration for the course Why We Care about Care: An Online Moderated Course on Care Economy is now open. The course will take place from 2 May to 3 July 2016 (deadline to apply 21 March).
