Description:

2017's UNESCO-IIEP  Summer School offers a programme tailored to help participants to understand, obtain, and practise management skills by offering a blended course on educational planning, combining an online phase and a residential phase. The Summer School aims to capacitate all participants, helping them to become change agents and leaders in their professional environments.

  • Online phase (7–18 August 2017) + Residential phase (Paris: 21–25 August 2017)
  • Objective: To strengthen the planning capacities of future female leaders, enabling them to better identify information needs and make policy suggestions in view of monitoring progress towards the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). 
  • Participants: Female planners and managers from ministries of education who are involved in the formulation of policies, plans, programmes, and projects.
  • Workload: Online phase (3–4 hours per week); Residential phase (37.5 hours per week).
