This handbook for electoral management bodies (EMBs) offers strategies and entry points to assist EMBs in removing existing barriers for youth electoral participation, including in terms of national legal and political frameworks and youth’s lack of confidence in national institutions. The publication also explores how EMBs can make electoral processes more inclusive and peaceful. It links these objectives to the outcomes and indicators of SDGs, particularly Goal 16 on "peace, justice and strong institutions".
