Description:
This guide supports those who work with, and/or advocate for women, especially women with controlling or abusive partners or ex-partners. It offers guidance on what to do when a woman is ready to reach out for help; how to be ready to understand her situation; offer guidance; and ensure her safety and recovery. It also aims to help busy individuals learn or up-grade their skills, in consideration of their multiple commitments. Rather than prescribing solutions, the guide offers principles for interventions; flexible, practical tools; and guidance on skills development, while consistently considering each woman’s unique context and needs.
