Our focus on gender equality grows stronger when we experience gender-based inequalities in real life. If we start learning about gender equality from the school level itself, through the school curriculum, it would be very helpful. This way, society will start understanding and practicing gender equality from an early age, and it can be implemented in a more holistic way.
Secondly, gender-responsive budgeting plays an important role. Although budgets are made in administration keeping gender in mind, the real importance is in how well they are implemented. So, proper implementation of gender budgets is very important.
Also, there should be strong gender-based laws to support equality and protect gender rights.
